Merry Christmas!

Posted by & filed under article, recipe.

Once again we have closed up shop for the year! The warehouse is silent and our hard-working team has taken off on a variety of holiday adventures. Most have gone home to their families, but hopefully they’re all getting outside and enjoying that beautiful Okanagan winter sunshine! The time off is very much deserved.

The warehouse is alive with the pitter-patter of work boots, the swoosh of our aprons and hairnets, the hum of the equipment and the chatter of our valued staff. November has come and gone, and with it the annual Harvest Sales. We have spent the last month hosting events throughout British Columbia, Alberta and at the newly-added Steinbach, Manitoba, venue! The first two weeks of the 2016 wholesale ordering season has come and gone already, the leaves are turning colour, and soon enough the snow will be flying! Customer orders started coming in pretty much the second we opened for ordering and they haven’t stopped since. We have so much love and appreciation for our… Read more »

The macadamia nut is native to certain areas of Australia. Locally it is known by many names, including bush nut, Queensland nut, maroochi nut and bauple nut. Incan berries: Rancho product of the month

Posted by & filed under article.

With so many names to go by and so many subgenera, this was one of the more challenging posts to write! Incan berries are one of my favourite berries, sweet and tart with a great texture and usually found with the fun little dried-leaf husk still attached. They’re not always easy to find fresh and… Read more »
