The farmers markets are back in full swing around our home province of BC, and with them comes an abundance of fresh local produce. One of the things we love to get at this time of year is fresh salad greens! If you’re looking for a way to make your lunch or dinner salad a… Read more »

Merry Christmas!

Posted by & filed under article, recipe.

Once again we have closed up shop for the year! The warehouse is silent and our hard-working team has taken off on a variety of holiday adventures. Most have gone home to their families, but hopefully they’re all getting outside and enjoying that beautiful Okanagan winter sunshine! The time off is very much deserved.

Green Veg Fry

Spring is definitely here, and with it fresh vegetables, flowers and new growth just about everywhere you look. Greek salad has become a favourite salad of mine over the last few years, perfect in the summer and fall when fresh veggies are plentiful. Aside from the benefits of eating a wider range of vitamins, minerals and other essential nutrients for your body, it also keeps you from getting bored with your meals. I really enjoy how the flavours come together with the ingredients in this salad and… Read more »

Chopped Veggie Salad

I don’t know about you, but in the summer I try to avoid turning on the stove or oven as much as I can; it’s just too hot! This salad is tasty, easy to put together and transport, making it perfect for potlucks, picnics and any time you need a healthy lunch on-the-go!

Roasted Beet Salad

I love beets, they’re a tasty root vegetable I enjoy throughout the year thanks to how well they keep over the winter. This is a great dinner salad that I often make extra of to keep aside for lunch the next day. If you do put some aside, remember to keep the nuts separate so… Read more »
