This chocolate syrup is great for making a cool glass of chocolate milk, a mug of hot chocolate, or pouring over ice cream!
- ¾ cup palm sugar
- ½ cup water, or milk
- 1⁄3 cup cocoa powder
- pinch of salt
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract
Place all ingredients into a saucepan over medium heat, whisk together the ingredients until smooth and well combined, and the mixture just starts to thicken.
Remove from heat and store in an airtight jar in the fridge; the syrup will continue to thicken while cooling.
