If you like your snacks smooth, sweet, cool, and creamy, try mixing it up by adding the delicious crunch of some flavoured nuts! The following ideas can be incorporated into dishes featuring either yogurt, frozen yogurt, or your favourite ice cream.


Start with your container of choice. This can just be a simple juice or pint glass, but we like mason jars! Then start identifying what ingredients will make sense. Our sweeter-flavoured nuts are probably best, layered with yogurt, whipped cream, granola, fresh fruit, and even dried fruits that have been rehydrated and then blended smooth!

To make a parfait simply alternate layers of your ingredients of choice and top with some sweet flavoured nuts!


Any old dish will do! With Sundays, you don’t need to think about carefully layering your ingredients as you can just sprinkle them on top!

NOTE: Think like a chef about your yogurt, frozen yogurt, or ice cream base. What’s already in it? And what additions will best compliment it for both flavour and texture?

TIP: In the case of fresh fruit slices – like pear – consider roasting them in a toaster oven right before serving and put them right on top. Not only will this bring out their flavourful juices, but your guests will love the tantalizing sensation of both warm and cold ingredients melting in their mouths!
