5-6 cups raw almonds
1/2 cup Tamari Soy Sauce (Ammno-Wheat Free)
1-2 heaping tsp cayenne (to taste)
1/2 tsp white sugar
rock salt


Pre heat your oven to 325f.

Bake almonds on a large cookie sheet lined with parchment paper or a baking mat for 20 minutes.

Pour the hot almonds into bowl with the soy sauce, sugar, and cayenne. Stir, stir, stir until all liquid is absorbed. This can take some time.

Spread back out onto the cookie sheet. Sprinkle with ground rock salt (if you like lots of salt like me).

Put the almonds back in the hot oven for an additional 22 minutes.

Cool and store in an air tight container.
