2 cups Rolled oats 2 cups Graham crackers, crumbled 1 cup Almonds, slivered, sliced, or chopped 1 cup Sunflower seeds, raw 1 cup Dried cranberries 1 cup Chocolate chips or baking chocolate chopped 1/2 cup Brown sugar 1/2 cup Honey 2 tbsp Coconut oil 1/2 cup Butter pinch of salt
Take honey, brown sugar, coconut oil and butter and combine in a saucepan over medium-high heat, gently whisking until the mixture comes to a boil. Reduce heat slightly but keep the mixture simmering and constantly stir for two minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, mix all dry ingredients except the chocolate until well blended. Next, dribble the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until everything is thoroughly and evenly combined. Then stir in the chocolate chips.
Press the mixture firmly into an approximately 9″ x 9″ parchment-lined casserole dish until it is approximately 1 inch thick. The harder you pack the mixture into the dish the better the bars will hold together.
Cool them in the fridge for about a half hour until set. Then cut them into your desired size and serve, or store them in your fridge or freezer for later enjoyment.
