1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries 1 cup yogurt, or 1 small banana 1/4 cup raw almonds 2 pitted dates 1 tbsp hemp seeds 4 ice cubes (8 if using fresh blueberries) optional – 1-2 Tbsp of Pumpkin or Hemp seed powder or 1 scoop of your favourite unflavoured, vanilla, or berry flavoured protein powder.
Healthy meals don’t get much easier and quicker than a smoothie!
Put all the ingredients together in a blender. Add water (or your choice of milk) so it just covers everything and blend on high until smooth. If it’s a bit thick add more water slowly or give it a stir and blend again.
